For some odd reason, I can't seem to reply to (or send) PM's.

Is it my after-shave???

Same here Trader_Phred. Not authorized to use the pm either. Think it is a cyber plot! It really hurts player interaction. Sending player diplomacy via turns doesn't appear to work and with no pm through the board, it kinda leaves you just doing your own thing. I fear eventually that will not be enough to sustain interest.

In the last game I wrote a function in the input program that would pop up a message que when you sent a diplomatic message. It worked fairly well but I'm not sure how many people actually used it. Mostly they communicated by email. However I'm figuring out the mechanics of doing that for the web page. The message was attached to the end of your turn and it would be automatically included in the other players turn results. In the mean time you can do that now if you send a message as a separate attachment. Randy will forward the message on to the other player.

Go to "board preferences" and make sure this is clicked "yes"

Allow users to send you private messages:
Note that administrators and moderators will always be able to send you messages.

It has always been clicked yes. I have received pms from Tregonsee and Randy since my post, but am still unable to reply or send a pm. I get the 'you are not authorized' message when I click on compose. When I open the pm, I have no way to reply. It must be above my pay grade.

Try unclicking, saving it, then click and save it.
