Upgrading Torpedo Class

Not fully clear on procedures (also diff w/Draft Rules and Input Turn sheet)

1. Have Class 1 torpedoes on my planet - 100 of them
To change to Class 2, do I issue the 300 Retool bld code or… the 285 bpd Code? Or… Use3 the 300 Code and
insert the 285 code under Special Number
I am assuming I want to upgrade the Torpedo Class

2. Cost to go from Class 1 to 2 would be: 100 - Diff between Class 1 and Class 2 times # of torpedoes.

3. My 200 Torps there, would they become Class 2, or is there a cost for them too?

You can not have two different class of torpedoes on a planet.
The rules seem incomplete in regards to the retooling have not tried because in most cases i would be looking at retooling 900 torp.'s
900 x 100 = 90,000ru's ouch.

Agree.

So upgrading 900 Torps C1 to C2 would be just as effective as having to buy 450 of C2 from having 0.

There should be a way to maybe move or "canniblize the old class. Even a "Trash" command.
