Freedom…Americans know what that is. We know what it has cost us. And we will continue to hold it dear.
Independence Day in the Estra Galaxy…has an entirely different meaning. It is the day the cybernetics broke free from biological constraint. It is a day of infamy.
Independent Developers…that’s us. We are a band of like minded individuals who have come together from all over the globe to make the vision of Takamo Universe come to life. We have team members in the USA, Russia, India, England, Colombia and Canada. They are voice actors, IT specialists, artists, graphic designers, composers, 3D modelers, writers and programmers.
So far we have developed the foundations of the game. Servers are humming, source code is under development, music is being crafted, a stable of ship and installation designs is filling up. The backstory is developing as we write new articles and subplots for the galactic archives.
Now, the Takamo veterans are diving in, writing stories, sending design proposals for new starships and alien cultures. We are evolving into a community built game system; a truly “Indie” game!
We want to continue to encourage that independent spirit. If you have a content idea or design proposal. If you have a talent for music or art, writing or design, get involved! Heck, even if you think that you don’t have a talented cell in your body, your ideas and sketches can be reworked by our artists. Of course, if you can’t be involved directly, you can always contribute cold hard cash to the effort by contributing through our PayPal link.
This project is great fun as well as a huge artist endeavor and you are an important part of that. Thank you for being a part of this independent development effort.
